Auxiliary Board

The Auxiliary Board, founded in 1951, supports research programs at the Comprehensive Cancer Center to improve the prevention, early detection, and treatment of cancer. The board primarily raises funding for young scientists in the earlier stages of their research careers.

Since its inception, the Auxiliary Board has raised more than $4 million for cancer research for the UCCRF. From research aimed at revealing the genetics of cancer risk to developing new therapies for cancer treatment, the board’s philanthropic support is today advancing the forefront of cancer knowledge and care.
